The final concert of the 2016 season was performed on July 10 in the UUCW sanctuary. The church was packed with music lovers enjoying a spirited program that combined popular tunes and unique showcases for individual instruments. Conductor Lucinda Ellert concluded with an encore of the melodic and peaceful "Londonderry Air". The program, on the theme of "Family Favorites and Features," included:

WinWinds plays Stars and Stripes Forever WinWinds players and their audience

Winchendon Winds played to an enthusiastic audience on the front and side lawns of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Winchendon on July 3. UUCW sold out of fresh-made strawberry shortcake as the audience enjoyed traditional marches and classic pieces by American composers in honor of the Fourth of July. The weather was sunny, breezy and perfect for a band concert al fresco. The program titled, "America!" presented the following numbers:

standing ovation for Winchendon Winds Winchendon Winds first concert at UUCW

The debut concert of Winchendon Winds' 2016 season was a great success, with an enthusiastic audience rising for a standing ovation at the concert's conclusion.
