Murdock Music Festival

Winchendon Winds returned in 2019 with Conductor James Chesebrough at the podium, joined by Assistant Conductor Rick Anderson. We collaborated with the Murdock Public Schools to produce the first-ever Murdock Music Festival on March 16. We worked closely with the school music instructor, Alyson Galipeau, to bring together 45 singers and instrumentalists from the middle and high schools. The student groups and Winchendon Winds each performed several solo numbers, and then all musicians were brought together for two combined numbers. The Festival was attended by over 100 parents and community residents.
